What's it all about?

"Scottish Monsters" was an idea that can trace it's roots back to 'munro bagging' trip Jon and a friend did to Glen Lyon. Passing 'Bolfacks' on the way, they joked the name sounded like a monster. 

A few years later, along came Claire, who seems to have special skills in drawing lovable creatures.

Further travels, and more doodles, and it seemed that all over Scotland there were curious and interesting place names, and more and more 'Scottish Monsters' came into being!

 

The book has a been a long project, taking a few years to put together, but finally we are able to share the book and the creatures with you.
